2011 has been an incredible year for Lock Haven Hospital and our mission is clear: to provide patient-focused and compassionate care through a positive environment for our employees to work and for physicians to practice medicine.

We are always challenging ourselves for ways to make the healthcare experience better for our patients, physicians and staff. We demonstrate every day that Lock Haven Hospital is more than your typical community hospital through our ability to bring sophisticated, advanced care to the people of our community.

We truly appreciate our nearly 300 employees, who tirelessly give their personal best to assure that our patients receive safe, high-quality care. Our achievements don’t happen by accident; they are accomplished through the dedication and passion for providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Our nurses are the foundation of the care that we at Lock Haven Hospital provide and truly what makes us different. They support the physicians, deliver the highest level of patient care and act as health care liaisons for family members. They hold hands, offer support and encouragement, and most importantly they listen.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated medical staff that make it possible for Lock Haven Hospital to provide extraordinary care for the citizens of our community. We could not do what we do, without the primary care providers, specialists and surgeons who make up our medical team.

The experiences of each patient would not be the same without the countless hours our volunteers and Auxiliary generously give to the hospital every month. From the greeting at the door to that extra touch on our hospital floors they bring good cheer and kindness to those who trust Lock Haven Hospital with their care.
