Lock Haven Hospital Offer Free Expectant Parent Classes

Lock Haven, PA.  December 8th, 2008 –

Lock Haven Hospital will continue to offer Expectant Parent classes free of charge to the Lock Haven community.  The series of five classes will be held throughout 2009 and cover topics associated with prenatal care and successful strategies for after the baby is born.  Sibling classes are also available in the series.  The classes are presented under the direction of Anne Rhoads, RN, with over 25 years of maternity experience.  Information is also presented by Dr. Nicholas Viyuoh, Board–Certified OB/GYN and Dr. Praful Bhatt, Board-Certified pediatrician.

The classes are held on successive Wednesday nights every other month beginning in January.  Start time is 7:00pm and are held in Conference Room E at Lock Haven Hospital.  The free classes are offered as a benefit of the Tiny Toes OB Maternity Club. 

Pre-registration is requested and can be made by calling Haven Healthcare for Women at  570-893-5043.  It is recommended that enrollment occurs after the sixth month of pregnancy.
