Board Certified OB/GYN Physician Joins Lock Haven Hospital Staff and Haven Healthcare for Women 

Lock Haven, PA – Lock Haven Hospital and Haven Healthcare for Women are proud to announce Dr. Sanchita P. Yadalla, OB/GYN, will join the medical staff on June 22, 2009.  She is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Yadalla received her medical education from J.J. Hospital of Grant Medical College in Bombay, India which is recognized as one of the leading hospitals in India.  She received her post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Rush University St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois and Wright State University at Miami Valley hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  Dr. Yadalla also trained in General Surgery and Anesthesia while training in India.

Dr. Yadalla served as the Chief of the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medina Memorial Hospital in Medina, New York from 2005 -2007.  Prior to joining Haven Healthcare for Women she was in private practice in Dansville, New York associated with Nicholas Noyes Hospital.

Appointments are now being scheduled.  Haven Healthcare for Women has expanded office hours including early morning and evening hours several days a week. Please call (570) 893-5043 to schedule a convenient appointment time.

Haven Healthcare for Women is located on the third floor of Lock Haven Hospital and offers comprehensive women’s healthcare services including pre and post natal care, family planning, annual exams, screening evaluations, mammography, and general pelvic surgery. 

Dr. Yadalla is relocating to the Lock Haven area and will be joined by her husband and two daughters.  The Yadalla’s enjoy family activities and pursue personal fitness and hiking for recreation.
