Lock Haven, PA – Ann Beck was recognized as Lock Haven Hospital’s Employee of the Month for June 2009.   Jackie Haines Director of Information Systems and Jordan Leigh, Chief Financial Officer, along with the Senior Management team, presented Beck with the Employee of the Month Award acknowledging her efforts to ensure quality patient care and maintaining the computer networking system pertaining to patient files and information access and storage.  Haines states, “Ann is a team player who has eagerly accepted new challenges and continues to work toward upgrading the facility wide computer system and is very deserving of the recognition.”

Ann has worked at Lock Haven Hospital for 19 years and has worked in various departments most currently serving as Systems Analyst.  Her daily duties include system troubleshooting, updating and strategic maintenance of the Hospital’s computer applications.  Ann stated, “ I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to work at Lock Haven Hospital maintaining the information systems and the exciting challenge of learning new technology on a daily basis.”.

Nominations for the Employee of the Month are reviewed monthly and the review committee selects a recipient with attention to excellence and a commitment to quality care and customer service.  Employees earning the recognition also receive a hospital garment and are automatically eligible for the Employee of the Year Award.
