Lock Haven, PA – Clara Corbin was recognized as Lock Haven Hospital’s Employee of the Month for April 2009.  April Strouse, Accounting Manager and Kristin Sykes, Controller along with the Senior Management team, presented Clara with the Employee of the Month Award acknowledging her efforts to ensure timely and accurate record keeping handling the Hospital’s invoice system.  Sykes states, “Clara is a team player who has eagerly accepted new challenges and continues to work toward improving the accounting process and is very deserving of the recognition.”

Clara has worked at Lock Haven Hospital for nearly six years and has worked in various departments most currently serving as the accounts payable clerk and hospital cashier.

Nominations for the Employee of the Month are reviewed monthly and the review committee selects a recipient with attention to excellence and a commitment to quality care and customer service.  Employees earning the recognition also receive a hospital garment and are automatically eligible for the employee of the year Award.
