Lock Haven, PA – Mallori Kieffer was recognized as Lock Haven Hospital’s Employee of the Month for May 2009.   April Strouse, Carol Barner, Chief Nursing Officer, and Brenda Confer, Director of Critical Care Services, along with the Senior Management team, presented Mallori with the Employee of the Month Award acknowledging her efforts to ensure quality patient care and maintaining the comfort and safety standards for all inpatients.  Confer states, “Mallori is a team player who has eagerly accepted new challenges and continues to work toward improving the nursing process and is very deserving of the recognition.”

Malori has worked at Lock Haven Hospital for nearly six years and has worked in various departments most currently serving as the lead med-surg nurse and serves in the ICU.

Nominations for the Employee of the Month are reviewed monthly and the review committee selects a recipient with attention to excellence and a commitment to quality care and customer service.  Employees earning the recognition also receive a hospital garment and are automatically eligible for the Employee of the Year Award.
