Lock Haven Hospital Recognizes Teena Rich as Employee of the Month

Lock Haven, PA – Teena Rich was recognized as Lock Haven Hospital’s Employee of the Month for October 2009. Thomas Foster, Nursing Home Administrator, along with Amy Comstock, Director of Nursing, presented Teena with the Employee of the Month Award acknowledging her efforts to ensure quality patient care. Foster states, “Teena is a team player who champions quality care and has eagerly accepted new challenges in working toward the best care for the residents.”

Teena has worked at Lock Haven Hospital and Extended Care for 28 years and currently works on the first floor of the extended care unit.  Her daily duties include all aspects of the daily healthcare needs of the residents.  Teena stated, “I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to work at the Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit.  I truly enjoy my job especially working with residents and there families”.

Nominations for the Employee of the Month are reviewed monthly and the review committee selects a recipient with attention to excellence and a commitment to quality care and customer service.  Employees earning the recognition also receive a hospital garment and are automatically eligible for the Employee of the Year Award.
