 Haven Orthopedics Team Hold Open House Presentation

Public learned more about knee and hip replacement options available
locally at Lock Haven Hospital 

Lock Haven, PA – The Haven Orthopedic team of Apostolos Dimitroulias, M.D., Ryhor Harbacheuski, M.D. and John Hanna, PA-C hosted an open house presentation on knee and hip replacement options that are available locally at Lock Haven Hospital.

Members of the public toured the orthopedic and physical therapy facilities, visited with the physicians and staff, and enjoyed free refreshments. Vendors from Zimmer Orthopedics displayed knee and hip replacement models and answered patient questions about the implants and devices. 

Dr. Dimitroulias presented an overview of the various surgical options that are available to candidates for knee and hip replacement surgeries. Dimitroulias outlined the symptoms patients may be experiencing and how the surgical options can enhance patient’s quality of life.

“Studies have shown that on average, 6 to 12 months after these surgeries, patients are experiencing an improved quality of life,” said Dimitroulias. “Too often patients sacrifice the things they enjoy due to the pain they suffer, these surgeries can help alleviate that pain and allow people to get back to what they love.”
