Lock Haven Hospital Recognizes Barbie Shultz, BSN

Lock Haven PA – Barbie Shultz, BSN, at Lock Haven Hospital’s Emergency Department was recently recognized as Lock Haven Hospital’s employee of the month for October 2007. John Yanes, CEO, and Diana Nyman, Emergency Department Director presented Barbie with the award acknowledging her dedication to the patients, families and staff members of Lock Haven Hospital’s Emergency Department. Barbie unselfishly drove a patient of the Emergency Department home after cab service ceased running for the evening.

Nominations for the Employee of the Month are reviewed monthly. A review committee selects a recipient with attention to excellence and a commitment to quality care and customer service. In addition to acknowledgement, recipients are awarded a hospital t-shirt, special parking spot, and a gift certificate.
