Lock Haven Hospital / Haven Urological Professionals Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Reception
Lock Haven, PA. December 2007 – To celebrate the completion of the renovations and the grand opening of Haven Urological Professionals at Bald Eagle Court, Suite 305 in McElhattan, Lock Haven Hospital and Haven Urological Professionals recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception.
This project will provide essential specialty services to the entire community.
The project includes 4350 sq. ft. which houses the newly established Urological practice, Haven Urological Professionals. Lock Haven Hospital recruited Ray Petroski, MD. Board Certified Urologist, who began his practice in early July.
The 10-week project resulted in all newly renovated space complete with 4 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, sterilization area, registration, large waiting room, family conference room and additional support space necessary for a comprehensive Urology practice.
Community Benefit:
- Increased availability of essential outpatient medical specialty services in Clinton County.
- Improved standard of care and convenience for Clinton County residents.
- Reduce need for Clinton County residents to leave area for needed medical services.
- Positive economic impact to local community and Clinton County through economic development, upgrades to local medical infrastructure, drawing in revenue to the local economy.
“Healthcare services are essential in attracting new industry to the community”, noted Wes Grand, LHH Chairman of the Board of Trustees. “We are very pleased and appreciative of the leadership at Lock Haven Hospital for its continuing efforts to improve service levels in the community”, note Grand. Frank Parker, Chief of Staff, echoed Mr. Grand’s appreciation and commented that the practice had an excellent design clearly focused on the patient. Mr. Yanes, CEO of Lock Haven Hospital thanked everyone who made this project a reality and especially thanked the hospital staff directly involved in the project. Mr. Yanes also thanked the physicians, board members and other community representatives that attended the event.
