Lock Haven Hospital to Honor Volunteers
Lock Haven – Each year, one week is designated as National Volunteer Week - a special time to thank and honor those who lend their time and skills to those in need. This year Lock Haven Hospital volunteers will be recognized during special events and a luncheon celebration, Wednesday, May 4, 2011.

During 2010, adult, student and teen volunteers contributed over 7500 hours of service to Lock Haven Hospital. The hospital averaged 39 different volunteers per month.
“Volunteers play a critical role aiding patients at Lock Haven Hospital,” said Cindy Segar-Miller, chief executive officer, Lock Haven Hospital. “Student volunteers gain valuable experience working side by side with healthcare professionals and our adult volunteers provide helpful and caring assistance to patients.”
