Lock Haven Hospital Pharmacy Services

The Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to all patients of Lock Haven Hospital.  The clinical services provided by the department include drug order review, drug interaction monitoring, renal drug monitoring, therapeutic drug monitoring, and drug information support for clinical personnel. 

The department consists of licensed pharmacists as well as technicians.  All pharmacy technicians in the department have obtained certification from the National Associations of Boards of Pharmacy, NABP.

The department utilizes automated dispensing cabinets in patient care areas.  These automated dispensing cabinets increase patient safety by improving medication management and decrease turnaround time for medication delivery by optimizing workflow.
